Pony Chung Foundation: Supporting the Next Generation

Established in South Korea in 2005, the Pony Chung Foundation was named in honor of the late Honorary Chairman Chung Se Yung, a pioneer of the Korean automotive industry who played an important role in the development of the Pony, the first automobile designed and manufactured in South Korea. Beyond his business achievements, his legacy reflects a spirit of innovation, pioneering leadership, and a commitment to investing in future generations.

Over nearly two decades, the program has supported approximately 590 scholarship recipients at VNU, helping students further develop their capabilities and expand their opportunities to access international educational environments.

Expanding Educational Cooperation Between Vietnam and South Korea

Beyond financial support, the partnership between VNU and the Pony Chung Foundation has created opportunities for postgraduate study, student exchanges, and educational experiences in South Korea. Through these initiatives, the program contributes to strengthening educational exchanges between Vietnam and South Korea while encouraging students to embrace a pioneering spirit, proactively pursue new opportunities, and prepare themselves for future challenges.
