HSB Conducts Admission Interviews for Master's Programs in 2026
On October 10 and 11, 2026, the Admissions Committee of the School of Business and Management (HSB), Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), conducted admission interviews for its master's degree programs for the 2026 intake. This important stage of the postgraduate admissions process aims to comprehensively assess applicants' capabilities, academic goals, professional knowledge, and practical experience.
Through face-to-face interviews, the Admissions Committee gains further insights into each applicant's social awareness, professional knowledge, work experience, communication skills, ability to articulate ideas, sense of responsibility, and aspirations for personal development. The interviews also help determine the extent to which applicants' competencies and career orientations align with the objectives and requirements of their chosen programs.
A Comprehensive Approach to Applicant Assessment
The admissions process for HSB's master's degree programs consists of several stages, including application review, professional interviews, and final admission decisions in accordance with the regulations of each program.
During the application review stage, the Admissions Committee evaluates applicants' eligibility and relevant criteria, including academic background, foreign language proficiency, professional experience, and competencies, based on the specific requirements of each program. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to participate in admission interviews.
During the interview stage, applicants are assessed on their academic objectives, understanding of political, economic, cultural, and social issues, professional knowledge, work experience, communication and presentation skills, sense of responsibility, and personal development goals. For the Master of Business Administration (HSB-MBA) program, applicants are required to participate in interviews conducted in English, in accordance with the program's regulations.
The assessment results provide the Admissions Committee with a basis for selecting applicants who meet the entry requirements, possess suitable academic and professional foundations, and demonstrate strong potential for further academic development and research.
