III. ADMISSION METHODS
Preliminary selection (through Application Assessment and EQ Assessment) combined with admission consideration:
- Round 1: Application Assessment

- Round 2: EQ Assessment (via video clip or direct interview at the School of Business and Management, Vietnam National University, Hanoi)
- Round 3: Admission consideration according to the general admission plan of the Ministry of Education and Training and VNU Hanoi.
3.1. Admission Requirements
3.1.1. Application Review
- Preliminary application submission: APPLY NOW
- Application deadline: before August 26, 2021
- Applications are assessed based on the following criteria: High school academic performance at a good level or above (up to the first semester of Grade 12); quality of responses in the application questionnaire; certificates/awards; English writing ability.
- The Admission Council will review applications and announce results and interview schedules within a maximum of 10 days from the date of application submission.
3.1.2. EQ Assessment
- Assessment period: before August 28, 2021
- Assessment format: Video clip or direct interview
- The assessment panel consists of Professors, Associate Professors, and Doctors.
- Results will be announced to applicants within a maximum of 10 days.
Note: For the first admission round, EQ Assessment is MANDATORY before the national high school graduation examination. For supplementary admission rounds (if quotas remain available), the EQ Assessment schedule will be announced later.

Applicants using High School Graduation Examination results must achieve a minimum total score of 19/30 (including priority points by region and category).
3.1.3.2 Applicants using VNU Hanoi Competency Assessment Results
Applicants must achieve a minimum score of 80/150 in the VNU Hanoi Competency Assessment.
3.1.3.3 Direct Admission Applicants under MOET and VNU Regulations
- Direct admission and priority admission are implemented according to the Admission Regulations and Guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training and VNU Hanoi for the 2021 academic year.
- Applicants eligible for direct admission are still required to pass the preliminary interview conducted by the Admission Council.
3.1.3.4 Applicants with International Certificates
Admission is conducted according to the Admission Regulations and Guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training and VNU Hanoi for applicants holding A-level, SAT, or IELTS certificates.

3.1.3.5 International Applicants
Admission is conducted according to Decision No. 4848/QĐ-ĐHQGHN dated December 18, 2017 of the President of VNU Hanoi regarding the attraction and management of international students at VNU Hanoi.

V. PRIORITY POLICIES
Priority applicants are considered according to Circular No. 04/2017/TT-BGDĐT dated January 25, 2017 issued by the Minister of Education and Training on Regulations for the National High School Examination and High School Graduation Recognition; Admission Guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training; and Admission Guidelines for full-time undergraduate programs of VNU Hanoi in 2021.

Admission and Commitment Fees
– Preliminary application review and interview fee: 300,000 VND
– Admission fee: According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and VNU Hanoi
Note: Applications and all related fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
To avoid virtual registrations, HSB only reserves EQ Assessment results for 10 working days from the date of admission notification.
