HSB Connects Students with Postgraduate Study Opportunities at The Chinese University of Hong Kong

On October 3, 2026, the School of Business and Management (HSB), Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), welcomed representatives from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), one of HSB's international partners, as part of the "Meet CUHK in Hanoi" event. The programme provided HSB students with an opportunity to explore postgraduate study programmes, scholarship opportunities, and pathways for academic development at one of Hong Kong's leading higher education institutions.

Established in 1963, CUHK is a comprehensive, internationally oriented research university with a mission to combine tradition with modernity and bridge Eastern and Western knowledge. The University comprises eight faculties, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. CUHK's educational environment emphasises the integration of specialised knowledge with holistic education, while promoting scientific research and academic exchange within the international community. During the event, HSB students had a dedicated session with CUHK representatives, allowing them to learn directly about postgraduate programmes in management and business, as well as study and research opportunities in Hong Kong. Discussions focused on academic programmes, educational pathways, and postgraduate study plans, providing students with valuable information to identify development goals aligned with their abilities and career aspirations.

In addition, students received information about various scholarship opportunities, including the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS), a fellowship programme designed for doctoral research students. Direct engagement with university representatives and researchers also enabled students to gain deeper insights into the research environment, admission requirements, and the necessary preparations for pursuing higher-level academic studies.

For students considering international education, events such as "Meet CUHK in Hanoi" not only provide information about admissions but also create opportunities for direct engagement with overseas higher education institutions. Such interactions encourage students to proactively develop long-term study plans and academic development strategies.

Through its engagement with CUHK, HSB continues to promote academic exchange and international cooperation, contributing to broader access to knowledge, strengthening students' international integration capabilities, and equipping them with the skills and confidence to pursue study and research in a global educational environment.
