Global Scholar Program

The HSB Global Scholar Program is an annual initiative by the Hanoi School of Business and Management (HSB), Vietnam National University (VNU), designed to foster meaningful academic exchange, collaborative research, and cross-cultural engagement with international partner universities.
Each year, HSB welcomes up to 20 visiting scholars from partner institutions around the world. Scholars participate in teaching activities on the HSB campus, collaborate with HSB faculty on research projects, and immerse themselves in Vietnamese culture and hospitality. Applications open during Q4, with a deadline of December 31.

Campus Teaching
Deliver lectures, seminars and interactive workshops with HSB students, sharing your expertise in an international classroom setting.
Research Collaboration
Partner with HSB faculty on joint research initiatives, co-author publications, and explore collaborative grant opportunities.
Academic Seminars
Present your research at HSB seminars and engage in academic discussions with faculty, doctoral candidates and visiting peers.
Curriculum Development
Contribute to curriculum design discussions and share best practices in business education with HSB's academic team.

Cultural Immersion
Experience Vietnamese culture first-hand through curated destination visits, authentic local cuisine, and cultural activities.
Open to academics and researchers from international partner universities. Verify your eligibility via the application portal.
Current academic or research position at an international university. Faculty members, researchers and doctoral supervisors from HSB partner institutions are particularly encouraged.
Demonstrated experience in teaching and/or research in business, management, economics, or related fields. Scholars should be prepared to deliver lectures and engage in collaborative research.
Complete the eligibility verification and application form via the official portal. Applications are accepted during Q4 each year, with a deadline of December 31.
Scholars are expected to actively participate in teaching, research and cultural activities throughout the program. A willingness to engage with Vietnamese academic culture is essential.
