Outstanding New Student Scholarship Cohort QH-2026-D
Awarded to applicants who register for admission to the Undergraduate Programs at Hanoi School of Business & Management (HSB) – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) during Phase 1 (according to the schedule set by the Ministry of Education and Training) and have Pass EQ Assessment Exam.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Place HSB – VNU as First Choice Required
Place Hanoi School of Business & Management (HSB) – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) as your first choice when registering for admission in the 2026–2027 university entrance examination.

Conduct Assessment
Maintain Excellent conduct assessment rating throughout all 3 years of high school.

Academic Achievement
Achieve Excellent academic performance for at least 2 years during high school.

Pass EQ Assessment Exam
Applicants must participate and pass the Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Assessment Exam administered by HSB.

Recommendation Letter Required
Recommendation letter with confirmation from the homeroom teacher.

Academic Achievements Preferred
Won District/Provincial Outstanding Student Award or higher; achieved awards in International Olympiad competitions related to science or technology.

Extracurricular Achievements Preferred
Hold certificates, awards, or trophies for extracurricular activities. Priority given to youth organization activities and domestic/international competitions.
Top Honor & Second Honor Scholarship
Scholarships are awarded automatically to all new HSB students based on high school graduation exam scores — no separate application required.

Automatic Consideration Based on Exam Score
Top Honor and Second Honor scholarships are awarded automatically to all new students based on high school graduation exam scores — no application needed.

Receive One Highest-Value Scholarship
If a student qualifies for more than one scholarship, only one highest-value scholarship is awarded.

Handling Tied Test Scores
When applicants have equal high school graduation exam scores, additional consideration is given to Academic Achievement and Extracurricular Achievements — using the same criteria as the Outstanding New Student Scholarship.
Full Tuition Support (Conditional)
A program providing 100% tuition support for students with difficult circumstances but strong academic records who meet all selection criteria. Recipients will repay the supported tuition amount to the HSB Scholarship Fund within 10 years after graduation according to a contract signed with the school.

Applies to students with difficult circumstances but strong academics. Must have confirmation from local authorities regarding family hardship.

3-Year High School Excellent Academic Record
Must maintain Excellent academic performance, with an average score of 8.0 or above in all subjects of the 3-year high school curriculum based on the examination combination.

Entrance Exam Score Threshold
Examination combination score of 24/30 points or higher from the high school graduation exam (no subject below 7)
or General Assessment test score of 90/150 points or higher as administered by VNU.
Support Retention Requirements
Maintain a semester grade point average of 2.8/4.0 or above throughout studies at HSB and achieve Excellent or higher conduct assessment rating.
About the Repayment Mechanism: This is not a bank loan — no interest charges, no immediate repayment pressure upon graduation. Students repay the full supported tuition amount to the HSB Scholarship Fund over 10 years from graduation, according to a contract signed with the school before enrollment.

Transnational Education (TNE) Program Scholarship
International transnational education programs offer attractive scholarship levels for students with outstanding academic achievements and financial support for early enrollment applicants.
Early Bird Financial Support
(TNE Program)
10% first semester tuition support for students enrolling early in the Transnational Education (TNE) Program. No limit on student eligibility.
