Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tràng

Dr. Trang's scientific research revolves around Optical Wireless Communication (OWC), Optical Networks, Wireless Systems, Optical Camera Communication (OCC), Augmented Reality (AR) services via light, and Photonic Quantum. Dr. Trang holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering - Biomedical Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam, obtained in 2013; and received his Master's and Doctoral degrees in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Kookmin University (KMU), South Korea, in 2015 and 2018, respectively. Dr. Trang worked as a researcher at the LED Convergence R&D Center at KMU, South Korea. He was one of scientists with voting rights in the IEEE Standards Association (USA) from 2015 to the end of 2018. His contributions to the organization are recognized with over 100 in-depth technical papers. From 2019 to 2022, Trang worked as a postdoc at the LiFi Research and Development Centre in Scotland, UK (the University of Edinburgh University and Strathclyde). In 2021, Trang returned to Vietnam and founded HuePress, specializing in IoT solutions, software services, and proprietary technologies for smart cities.
